The average cost of a pint of Guinness has been revealed in Dorset ahead of St Patrick's Day this year.

The drink is synonymous with Ireland so understandably many people may want to celebrate the occasion with a pint or two.

However, the cost of a pint can vary quite a bit between counties, and the average cost in Dorset is on the higher end of the spectrum in the UK.

The company Love Discount Vouchers has researched what the average cost is across the UK, and has even found out the cost in several specific Dorset pubs.

Adrian Yearwood, Director at Love Discount Vouchers, said: “As such a wonderful celebration, St. Patrick’s Day shouldn’t be a day where you end up spending a fortune.
