A CAR was involved in a crash after ‘dangerously’ overtaking a number of vehicles on the wrong side of the road near Poole.

The silver Toyota Corolla was involved in a collision with a silver Ford C-Max after overtaking vehicles on the wrong side of the A35 near the Bakers Arms Roundabout.

The incident occurred at around 6.40am on Friday, March 3, and police are now urging anyone with witnessed it to contact them.

Police Constable Natasha Riley, of Dorset Police, said: “I am appealing to any motorists who were travelling in the area and remember witnessing the Toyota driving dangerously to please come forward.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
