A HAPPY and energetic Beagle called Max is among the animals looking for their forever homes this week.

Margaret Green Animal Rescue in Dorset is looking to rehome a number of dogs and rabbits currently in its care.

Can you help? All the details are below.

  • Max

Max is a seven year old Beagle who is super eager to please and loves his food, which has been particularly helpful during his training sessions.

Max would thrive with a family who would enjoy going on long walks and adventures with him.

Ideally, Max would be the only pet in his new home so he can feel settled and comfortable, but he would be happy living with teenage children.

  • Marshall

Marshall is a one year old Lurcher who has a big personality and loves to lean into people for affection.

He would be best suited to a home with another similar-sized, confident dog, and he would be happy to live with teenage children.

As Marshall is still very young, he would benefit from his new family taking him to training classes where he can improve his recall and loose lead skills.

  • Bandit

Bandit is a sensitive, three year old ex-racing Greyhound who loves nothing more than having a cuddle and taking time to get to know his surroundings.

He is a cautiously optimistic lad who would benefit from living with a larger female dog and a family that will help to build his confidence slowly.

Bandit’s ideal home would be one with teenagers and adults, where there are no cats or small furries.

  • Pixie and Bo

Pixie and Bo are a pair of female Lop rabbits who are looking for their forever home together. Pixie is four years old and her daughter, Bo, is around two years old.

They are friendly, inquisitive girls who love to hop around and explore, and they will often come over and say hello.

  • Florence and Tiger

Florence and Tiger are a bonded pair of three year old rabbits who get on very well and love to cuddle and play together.

They would be at their happiest living in a home with plenty of space to hop and run around, and a sunny spot where they can rest and nap together.

  • Vernon and Tikka

Vernon is looking for a new home with his best friend, Tikka. They are both three years old and they are quite an adventurous pair.

They prefer not to be handled at this stage, but this could possibly develop over time, as they enjoy having a fuss whilst relaxing on the ground.

They love being up high and jumping around, so they would like to find a home with lots of space.
