A BODY has been found in the search for a missing Bournemouth man.
Dorset Police received a report at 6.29pm on Tuesday, March 7, raising concern for the welfare of Bournemouth resident Marco Bianchi.
Following searches by officers, it was reported that the body of a man had been found in the Kimmeridge area at around 11.30am on Wednesday, March 8.
The body has yet to be formally identified, however, it is believed to be 56-year-old Marco.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and his family has been informed of the news.
Chief Inspector Greg Tansill, of Dorset Police, said: “Marco’s family has been updated with this very sad development and our thoughts go out to his loved ones at this extremely difficult time.
“I would like to thank all those who assisted with the search efforts and members of the public who responded to our appeals for information.”
