BOURNEMOUTH

JAMES BURGESS, aged 23 and of Walpole Road, Bournemouth, admits damaging a vehicle belonging to a man in Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, on February 6, 2023. Fined £226. To pay £180 compensation, £90 surcharge and £85 costs.

JACK PHILIP THOMPSON, aged 32 and of Talbot Avenue, Bournemouth, admits being drunk and disorderly in Southcote Road, Bournemouth, on February 2. Fined £50. To pay £40 surcharge and £85 costs. Also admits failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates’ Court on February 16, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on February 2. Fined £50.

RETFORD JOHN BARRY DAYKIN, aged 46 and of Manor Road, Bournemouth, admits driving a motor vehicle in Belle Vue Road, Bournemouth, on February 6 with 89 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £500. To pay £200 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 22 months.

IAN MICHAEL GREER, aged 65 and of South Kinson Drive, Bournemouth, admits when suspected of having drivne a vehicle and having been required to provide a specimen or specimens of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, failing to do so at Bournemouth Custody on February 5. Community order made, whereby the defendant must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work. To pay £114 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 36 months.

NORTH DORSET

AMY TAYLOR, aged 23 and of West Street, Blandford Forum, admits with intent to cause PS Shina harassment, alarm or distress, using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour thereby causing that or another person harassment, alarm or distress and the offence was racially aggravated in Wickford, Essex, on May 24, 2022. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. To pay £22 surcharge.

PAOLO ANTONIO MAURICE OWENS, aged 26 and of Blandford Camp, admits driving a VW Polo in A31 Merley Bird Gardens Roundabout on February 5 with 85 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £346. To pay £138 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 20 months.

POOLE

STEPHEN PAUL SKINNER, aged 38 and of Inglesham Way, Poole, admits sending a number of WhatsApp messages between August 5, 2022, and August 9, 2022, which he was prohibited from doing by a non-molestation order made on June 29, 2022. Community order made, whereby the defendant must take part in up to 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirement. Restraining order made, which lasts until February 19, 2024. Fined £50. To pay £114 surcharge. Also admits sending a number of emails to a woman between September 18, 2022, and September 21, 2022, which he was prohibited from doing by a non-molestation order made on June 29, 2022. Community order made. Also admits approaching and talking to a woman on September 21, 2022, which he was prohibited from doing by a non-molestation order made on June 29, 2022. Community order made. Also admits making phone calls to a woman between August 13, 2022, and September 24, 2022, which he was prohibited from doing by a non-molestation order made on June 29, 2022. Community order made.

LISA MARIE BRINDLEY, aged 34 and of Langdon Road, Poole, admits entering Hotel Celebrity in Grove Road, Bournemouth, on October 31, 2022, as a trespasser with intent to steal. Community order made, whereby the defendant must have treatment for drug dependency for six months. To pay £114 surcharge. Also admits failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates’ Court on January 4, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on December 14, 2022. No separate penalty. Also admits commission of a further offence whilst subject to a conditional discharge order for a period of 12 months. No action taken on breach.
