A SEA dip has been organised in Bournemouth to celebrate International Women’s Day in March.

The sea dip at Bournemouth beach has been organised by the McCarthy Stone Foundation and will be raising money for Truth be Told.

The event will start at 12.30pm on Wednesday, March 8, 200 metres east of Bournemouth Pier.

All McCarthy Stone employees, homeowners, friends and partners are invited to join in with the sea dip.

Hot drinks and cakes will be provided by the McCarthy Stone Foundation, and the foundation is asking for a donation on the day or in advance via JustGiving.

Bournemouth Echo:

All money raised by McCarthy Stone employees will be matched by the company and given directly to Truth be Told.

Truth be Told will be expanding its intergenerational programme to more care homes.

The programme aims to connect older people to pre-school children through a love of storytelling.

The charity focuses on storytelling and aim to “bring joy and life to older adults in care homes and the community in the UK and beyond” to boost their mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
