PLANS are progressing for two new restaurants opening in Christchurch and Boscombe.
Licencing applications have been submitted to BCP Council for Chicken & Blues and Flamingo.
Chicken & Blues has applied to operate from the former James & White site in Church Street, while Flamingo is looking to move into the James & White Group premises on Boscombe Spa Road.

Both applications outline the sale of alcohol for onsite and offsite consumption.
Once open, the new Chicken & Blues will be the third of the popular chain, with its other restaurants in Ashley Cross and Winton.
It’ll be the second restaurant for Flamingo, whose existing site is in Winton.
Both restaurants are owned by Aviary Hospitality.
Speaking to The Daily Echo in January, Joshua Simons, who co-founded Aviary Hospitality, said he hopes to have the new Chicken & Blues open in mid-February and Flamingo by April or May.
