JMC – a local company having started up in 1993 as JMC Services before changing to a Ltd Company in 2018 – specialise primarily in landscaping and driveways. Typical works include: turfing, patios, tarmac, block paving and much more. However, they also carry out a wide range of external works to do with all aspects of outdoor property maintenance and repair. This can be for local housing associations, schools and so on. Additionally, a lot of their housing work involves disability access to specific buildings where they retrospectively solve and fit ramps, hand rails and other modifications. They are also available to do this for domestic customers.

JMC has a five star rating on Facebook, and reviews include “These chaps came out and replaced a couple of really nice fences for me a few weeks ago, and were incredibly efficient and professional. Thoroughly recommend them, I definitely have more work planned for them in the near future.”

Recently, JMC have also been getting involved in Suds work (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems). Particularly with the wet weather we’ve been experiencing this winter, they feel this division of work is more important than ever. Jobs they may take part in can be as simple as creating shingle driveways or new soakaways. In more complex works, this may include the creation of rainwater gardens or swales. With the worry over floodings and complaints about sewage overflowing into rivers, JMC could be the way to go in reducing the amount of trouble being caused in local areas.
