However disruption is now expected until 4pm.
Trains services may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
South Western Railway said earlier: “We have been informed that due to poor weather conditions trains have reported being unable to draw power from the conductor rail in the Wool area.
“As ice forms on the conductor rail trains are unable to source the electricity they require to move and risk becoming stuck between stations.

“To prevent this we have currently suspended services between Poole and Weymouth and will run empty trains between these stations to inspect the line and to clear any ice from the rails.”
On Tuesday, trains had to run at a reduced speed due to a points failure at Poole.
And on Monday, there were major issues for people travelling between Bournemouth and Brockenhurst due to flooding in the New Milton area.
Trains were unable to run for most of the day.
There were also issues between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier.
