CHRISTMAS is practically here.

You’ve got the tree up, bought your presents and tidied the house (maybe)

Many of us will be getting out and about over the next few days whether it’s going to see friends and family, going to work or just heading out for a walk.

We won’t be getting a white Christmas, sadly, but the weather isn’t looking too bad.

There are no weather warnings in place which is good news.

If the situation changes, we will keep you updated.

Here’s what the Met Office is forecasting for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole for the next few days.

The outlook for December 27 to January 5 says: "On Tuesday, strong winds, cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle will spread eastwards across much of the UK.

"The heaviest rain will be in the west with drier conditions perhaps spreading to the north later. Temperatures are expected to become increasingly mild through the day.

"For the rest of the period, changeable weather conditions are likely across most parts of the UK. Showers or longer spells of rain are expected across many regions, with the heaviest rain in the west and some snow across Highlands of Scotland.

"These unsettled conditions will likely be interspersed by drier and brighter spells.

"Temperatures will be variable, but overall, they will most likely be close to or slightly below normal, with a lower chance of mild conditions."
