Work to repair a burst water main in Christchurch High Street has been completed.
A section of the High Street remains closed following the incident on Friday night.
Access to the main street from Fountain roundabout has been blocked off since Saturday morning.
In an update, a Bournemouth Water spokesperson said: “Our teams have successfully repaired a water main in Christchurch Highstreet which burst overnight as a result of the cold weather.
"To ensure the safety of our colleagues, a section of the High Street remains closed while we reinstate the road and a diversion is in place.
"We will reopen the road as soon as possible and we would like to thank customers for their patience.”
We have asked Bournemouth Water, whether 'as soon as possible' means hours or days.
