A CYCLIST was taken to hospital following a crash at a roundabout in Westbourne on Thursday morning, December 8.
The single-vehicle crash involving a bicycle occurred at Alum Chine Roundabout in Alum Chine Road.
Police were called to the scene at 6.08am and closed the road.
A man was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be serious.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Report received at 6.08am of single vehicle collision involving a bicycle
“Location is the roundabout in Alum Chine Road.
“Officers in attendance with ambulance service."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 05.58hrs to an incident in Bournemouth.
"We sent a double-crewed land ambulance and conveyed one patient to Poole Hospital.”
Officers left the scene shortly after 9.30am.
