A road in Dorset is closed both ways this morning after a vehicle crashed into a telegraph pole.
The A350 Bournemouth Road near Blandford is closed both ways following the incident just after 7am on Thursday.
The collision is affecting traffic between the A354 Badgers roundabout, Blandford St Mary to Park Hill, Charlton Marshall.
According to traffic information provider Inrix, a road closure will be in place for the foreseeable.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said they are in attendance along with the fire service and ambulance.
Recovery has been requested for the vehicle
They said the driver is being taken to hospital but they are not believed to have sustained any serious injuries.
