A CHRISTMAS Grotto for dogs has opened at a pet food store in Pamphill.
The Nurturing By Nature store invites dog owners to bring their four-legged friends to the Santa Paws Grotto for some festive photos, all to raise money for charity.
The grotto is free to enter, although there is a suggested donation of £5, to go to Friends of Wessex Assisting Dogs, a charity that provides assisting dogs for vulnerable people. They are hoping to raise £5,000 for the charity.
The Grotto will be open until Christmas Eve, during the normal shop hours of 8am to 6pm on Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sundays. There is no need to book to visit the grotto.
The store offers high-quality raw dog and cat food and is one of three Nurturing By Nature shops in the area, with other stores in Upton and West Moors.
It is a family-owned business that was first started in 1996 and opened their first store in West Moors in 2006. It was the first raw pet food store to open in the country.
