AS Dorset and the New Forest prepare for potential snowfall, the Daily Echo takes a glimpse back to the invasion of the Beast from the East in 2018.
Roads were eerily empty, schools were closed, and people stayed at home - unless they were lovingly sculpting snowmen in the back garden.

People were advised to check on their elderly or vulnerable neighbours and train services were cancelled.
