BOURNEMOUTH Round Table is bringing Santa to areas in Bournemouth this week.

The world’s largest men’s only voluntary club is running the Santa Sleigh for the first time, and after stopping off in Charminster yesterday, the sleigh continues its journey around the area in Muscliffe tonight.

Across the country, Round Table groups organise Santa Sleighs to raise money for local causes.

Past President of the group, Guy Hendricks, said: “We are excited to get out into the local community bringing the Santa sleigh with “Party Wave Donate” theme to the streets of Bournemouth.

“This is our very first year of organising the Santa sleigh and we cannot wait to see the excited faces all along our routes. The Sea Scouts are helping us out on Wednesday night and running a joint Sleigh with Westbourne Rotary on Thursday night.”

Current President, Robert Head, said: “A big thank you to everybody who donates to our sleigh collections - you will make an incredible difference to the lives of those who receive the money.”

The Sleigh will be in Muscliffe on Tuesday December 6, Iford on Wednesday, December 7 and Southbourne on Thursday, December 8, all starting at 6.30pm.
