IT’S Small Business Saturday.
The annual campaign shines a spotlight on small businesses and encourages people to ‘shop local’ in a bid to support independent retailers.
In the wake of the Covid pandemic, rising costs and changes to shopping habits mean it continues to be a difficult time for businesses on the high street.
We invited readers tell us their favourite small businesses in Bournemouth.
Dozens of people responded on the Bournemouth Echo Facebook page.
Recommended businesses included everything from bakeries to beauty salons.
Here are the responses we had.
