Care homes in Dorset have put out a call for the community to send in Christmas cards to residents and staff this Christmas season.
Three Bupa Care Homes in Bournemouth, Broadstone and Poole have put out the plea to help spread Christmas cheer.
Alan Brown, regional director at Bupa, said: “It’s a small gesture of kindness which would have such a positive impact, providing residents with a great sense of warmth, support, and togetherness – the ultimate definition of festive cheer.”
Bupa know that Christmas can often be an emotional time for those missing loved ones, so they hope these cards can make all the residents feel loved.
Anyone wishing to send a Christmas card to residents at their local Bupa care home can post them to:
