TWO cars were involved in a crash in Poole yesterday evening as a person had to be cut from a car by the firefighters. 

Police were called to a crash in Mannings Heath Road, in Poole, at 7pm on Wednesday, November 30 and attended along with the ambulance service and fire service. 

Minor injuries were reported and it is not clear how many people were injured. 

A Dorset Police spokeswoman said: “We were called at 7pm on Wednesday 30 November 2022 to report of two vehicle collision in Mannings Heath Road in Poole.  

“Police, fire and ambulance attended. Minor injuries reported, not clear how many people injured. 

“Vehicles recovered and road cleared at around 8.30pm.” 

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire service were called to the crash at 7.19pm and crews from Poole and Westbourne fire stations were attended. 

Firefigheters helped release a person from the car who was then assessed by paramedics. 

A spokesperson for DWFRS said: “There were two vehicles involved and firefighters released one person who was then assessed by paramedics.   

“One fire crew remained in attendance to oversee scene safety until the police arrived.”
