The Rotary Club of Poole Bay will continue its 20-year tradition of the Santa Express.

The Express, collecting for local charities, will start this Friday, December 2, and will run until December 22. Residents can see the brightly coloured train as it heads around Poole, Talbot Village, Parkstone, Broadstone and many more areas.

The Rotary Club said in a Facebook post: “Father Christmas and his jolly elves will be out collecting door to door, for needy local charities.”

Charities have the opportunity to run the train themselves, to raise money for their cause. These include Poole Hospital Cancer Trust, Poole Lions and Dorset Mind.
