A WOMAN has come forward following an incident in which a three-year-old girl was reportedly bitten by a dog in Poole.
It was reported that at around 5.15pm on Tuesday, November 15, a three-year-old girl was with her mother at the bus shelter opposite The Pilot pub in Adastral Road in Canford Heath.
There were also two women at the bus stop, one of whom had a predominantly white Jack Russell.
The dog reportedly bit the girl on the leg, which caused bruising to the victim.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Following an appeal, the woman with the dog has come forward and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
“We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.”
