NEW homeowners have moved into a £14m housing development in the heart of Bournemouth town centre.

Construction has finished and homes have sold out at the West Cliff Mansions in Hahnemann Road, part of a 50/50 regeneration venture between BCP Council and Muse Developments.

The collection of 44 one, two and three-bedroom homes are located half a mile from Bournemouth Pier and Poole Bay.

Bournemouth Development Company (BDC) collaborated with local contractor Parsons and Joyce to deliver the scheme.

Toby Marden, BDC senior development manager, said: “West Cliff Mansions is our fifth residential scheme we’ve delivered as part of our partnership with the council, and we’re delighted welcome new homeowners to this new, vibrant community we’ve been creating in the heart of Bournemouth.

“The fact that all homes have sold prior to completion is a ringing endorsement of the quality of what we’ve delivered together, alongside its location and fantastic amenities close by. It really highlights that Bournemouth is a great place to live.”

Deputy council leader Philip Broadhead added: “There is such a buzz and interest in this part of town.

“It’s clear from how quickly these homes sold out that people want to be here, and this is yet another example of our partnership development model delivering great news for our town centre regeneration.”

All homes at West Cliff Mansions have been designed to high specification and feature an open plan kitchen, living and dining space. Each home also offers its own outside space with either a private terrace or balcony.
