A 24-hour spinathon is to take place at Jodie Anne Fitness in Poole this weekend to raise money for Dorset Children’s Foundation.
The mammoth spin class will start at 6am on Saturday, December 3, and the pedals will stop turning 24 hours later.
The goal is to raise £1,500 for the charity, a cause which is close to Jodie’s heart.
Jodie, along with the whole fitness team, will be undertaking the spinathon to raise money to help send Annabelle, the daughter of one of Jodie’s clients, to Disney World.
Annabelle was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2019, and the charity has been providing fantastic support to her throughout her treatment and recovery.
She was promised a trip to Disney World in Florida, which was then cancelled. She has had a hard few years and has been left with life changing repercussions from the tumour.
It is hoped that the money raised will contribute to her dream trip.
