A MAN reportedly stole a handbag in Bournemouth, costing its owner more than £400.
The handbag was allegedly stolen by a man in Ludo Lounge, in Southbourne Grove.
A bank card that was in the handbag was subsequently used at Sports Direct to purchase trainers.
The bag contained a number of items, which means a total loss to the victim of around £410.
The reported theft and subsequent fraudulent use of a bank card happened at around 4.40pm on Friday, November 11.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify.
Police Constable Russell Thomas, of Bournemouth police, said: “As part of my enquiries, I have obtained a CCTV image of a man I would like to speak to.
“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
