A THREE-bedroom house in Bournemouth is going to auction next month with a guide price of £230,000 to £250,000.
The freehold semi-detached property situated at 15 Claremont Road is in need of refurbishment throughout and has off road parking and an outbuilding to the rear.
It is expected to generate “keen interest” when it goes up for auction and is among 139 lots listed across southern England by Clive Emson Auctioneers, regional land and property auctioneers.
Mike Marchant, a senior auction appraiser with the firm, said: “The house needs some improvement and refurbishment throughout, following which it is considered ideal for retention as an income producing investment or for resale into the local market.
“The property has off road parking to the front and a garden with an outbuilding to the rear.”
He added: “We anticipate keen interest.”
Meanwhile, a parcel of land in a residential area to the east of Christchurch will also be going under the hammer with a guide price of £2,000 to £3,000.
It comprises 0.18 acres, including verges.
Mike said: “Made up of grass verges on the corner of De Havilland Way and Comet Way, the land may offer potential for alternative uses, subject to all necessary consents being obtainable.”
The auction by Clive Emson Auctioneers ends on Wednesday, December 14, with bidding live 48 hours beforehand.
It is the firm’s eighth auction of the year.
