Details on the cases of nine people which have recently been dealt with at Poole Magistrates' Court.

BOURNEMOUTH

ANTHONY STEVEN JOHN TAYLOR, aged 24 and of no fixed abode, admits having a knife in Madeira Road, Bournemouth, on November 1. Community order made, whereby the defendant must abstain from consuming alcohol for 90 days and take part in up to 10 days of rehabilitation activity requirement. To pay £114 surcharge and £85 costs. Knife to be forfeited and destroyed.

SHICARA ROCHELLE GEORGE, aged 33 and of Talbot Avenue, Bournemouth, admits damaging a door belonging to Northover Court in Talbot Avenue, Bournemouth, on November 2. Committed to prison for two weeks, suspended for six months. To pay £154 surcharge. Also admits commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made on August 30 for the offences of assault by beating of an emergency worker. Suspended sentence of eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, amended by extending the operational period to 14 months.

RAZVAN NICOLAE GHEORGHE, aged 44 and of Windham Road, Bournemouth, admits when suspected of having driven a vehicle and having been required to provide a specimen or specimens of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, failing to do so in Dorset on October 27. Fined £150. To pay £80 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 16 months. Also admits failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates’ Court on October 10, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on October 27. Fined £50.

CARL LEWIS, aged 34 and of Keeble Crescent, Bournemouth, admits failing to comply with the requirements of a community order on August 2, 2019, by failing to attend for the unpaid work requirement on February 2, 2020, and February 23, 2020. Community order revoked. To pay £60 costs. New community order made, whereby the defendant must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.

THOMAS MICHAEL TAYLOR, aged 31 and of Edith Road, London, admits assaulting PC Cleary, an emergency worker acting in the exercise of his functions as such a worker, by beating him at Bournemouth Custody, Madeira Road, Bournemouth, on February 9. To pay £100 compensation.

EAST DORSET

DANIEL BRIAN OLDHAM, aged 19 and of Birch Road, St Leonards and St Ives, admits assaulting PC Davis, an emergency worker acting in the exercise of his functions as such a worker, by beating him at Bournemouth Custody, Madeira Road, Bournemouth, on September 11. Community order made, whereby the defendant must abstain from consuming any alcohol throughout a period of 60 days, follow an overnight curfew for 60 days and take part in up to 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirement. To pay £50 compensation, £114 surcharge and £85 costs. Also admits being drunk and disorderly in Fir Vale Road, Bournemouth, on September 24. Fined £50.

POOLE

ANTHONY WOODS, aged 37 and of Turlin Road, Poole, admits stealing numerous items to the value of approximately £20 belonging to Wilko in Dolphin Centre, Poole, on August 31. Discharged conditionally for nine months. To pay £26 surcharge.

PETER CHRISTOPHER TURNER, aged 38 and of Grove Road, Poole, admits jointly with others unknown stealing headphones and speakers valued at £686.99 belonging to John Lewis at Poole Retail Park, Redlands, Poole, on August 23. Committed to prison for 56 days, suspended for six months. To pay £100 compensation and £154 surcharge.

BRANDON HARTNELL, aged 19 and of Poole Road, Poole, admits assaulting a man by beating him in Bournemouth on April 9. Community order made, whereby the defendant must comply with an overnight curfew for 12 weeks. To pay £100 compensation, £114 surcharge and £85 costs.
