The Beaulieu Festive Fayre, due to be held between December 9 and 11, has been cancelled.
The event was set to feature festive food and drink, shopping, workshops and live bandstand entertainment in the grounds of Beaulieu, the home of the National Motor Museum.
The decision was made to cancel the event after the current economic climate meant they were unable to deliver an event that would “meet the expected quality of experience for visitors and exhibitors.”
Refunds will be issued within the next 10 working days to all those who had bought tickets.
Despite the cancellation of the Fayre, the Beaulieu visitor attraction will be open.
Festive activities organised by the attraction will continue, including Christmas crafts for children, and live showings of The Snow Queen in the ruins of Beaulieu Abbey, from Friday December 16, by the London Touring Players.
Beaulieu admission tickets, and tickets for The Snow Queen, can be bought on beaulieu.co.uk/events.
