A CAFÉ in Bournemouth celebrating one year of bubble teas - Bubble Tea Party is Trader of the Week.

Found inside the Burlington Arcade, Bubble Tea Party is an independent café run by husband-and-wife Anthony O'Sullivan and Anna Cheng.

The café sells a variety of milkshakes, smoothies, ice cream and of course- bubble tea, which has built up a reputation in the town for its premium taste.

Customers can choose from a long list of tea and ‘boba’ flavours to build their perfect version of the Taiwan inspired drink.

Anna said: “The products we use are fresh, premium, and top quality. We go to a fayre in London to pick the best products for our drinks.

“Customers love our brown sugar drinks. We use premium brown sugar products from Taiwan. Some of our customers have said they’re the best in Bournemouth.

“Many customers talk about our milkshakes too. We use premium ice cream, country milk, and frozen fruit. It’s all fresh ingredients, it’s not pre-prepared powder or anything like that.”

Bubble Tea Party has not only become known for its high-quality teas, but also the two individuals that brought it to the town.

Since launching it last year, Anthony and Anna have built strong relationships with their customers and do their all to provide a strong service.

Anthony said: “The loyal customers are our favourite aspect.

“When we started a year ago, they helped to spread the word. They were bringing their friends, and that helped because with it being my first business, I wasn’t sure on the social media and promotion side of things. The loyal customers helped with that.

“We are a small independent, and not a franchise. It means we can build relationships with customers and get their feedback on what they like.

Anna added that the pair regularly make custom drinks for visitors, and that they were “willing to try new things” for customers.

To celebrate the support of its customers, Bubble Tea Party will be offering snacks and nibbles, plus 20 per cent off all of its drinks on Saturday, December 3 - the day of its one-year anniversary.
