POLICE have warned they could be forced to seize vehicles that are being used ‘dangerously’ in an area of Dorset.
Officers have reported a number of individuals on scramblers and quad bikes who are driving in prohibited areas of Three Legged Cross.
Furzelands Road and Lower Common Lane have been most impacted by the anti-social behaviour which police say is both a “nuisance” and “dangerous.”
Police have already issued warning notices to individuals in recent weeks but warned they "will start seizing vehicles if this situation continues".
Signs have also been placed in Furzelands Road to highlight the issue.
In a Facebook post, East Dorset Police said they had placed signs in Furzelands Road to highlight the issue, and encouraged residents to report any anti-social behaviour they may witness in the area.
They said: “Not only is it a nuisance to residents, its dangerous to dog walkers and to the local stable yards. Horses are particularly sensitive to loud motorcycles and easily 'spooked'.
“Please call 101 or do it online to report this activity.”
