CAN you give any of these animals a forever home?

Dorset-based animal rescue centre Margaret Green is looking to rehome a number of animals in its care this week including dogs, cats, rabbits and goats.

If you can help, all the details are below.

Bournemouth Echo: MiloMilo (Image: Margaret Green Animal Rescue)

Milo is a 10-month-old, male Whippet cross. He is an exuberant and happy chap who loves to let you know that he has arrived! As he is still a youngster, he would benefit from going to puppy classes with his new family, which would also be a great way for him to bond with his new owners. He could live in a home with older children.

Bournemouth Echo:

Hazel is a beautiful, nine-year-old crossbreed. She would love to find a quiet home to spend her twilight years in, where she can go for daily walks and receive lots of fuss. She has recently had a lump removed from her tummy, which may sadly limit the time she has left to enjoy her life. As comfortable as we are making Hazel’s kennel during this time, she’s desperately craving the security and reassurance of a loving home environment. She would be happy to share a home with a calm dog for company.

Bournemouth Echo: Black Jack Black Jack (Image: Margaret Green Animal Rescue)

Black Jack is a lovely, four-year-old, ex-racing Greyhound. He is an outgoing and happy boy who enjoys cuddles and going for long walks. He is very excitable around his toys and he loves to throw them around and play! He is looking for a family who will have time to continue his training and take him on lots of adventures. He would be happy to live with teenage children.

Bournemouth Echo: EddieEddie (Image: Margaret Green Animal Rescue)

Eddie is a 15-year-old, handsome chap. He is looking for a home where he can lap up all of the attention he deserves. In his forever home, he would prefer to be the only pet but he could possibly live with older children, as long as they get approval from Eddie first.

Bournemouth Echo: BorisBoris (Image: Margaret Green Animal Rescue)

Boris is a three-year-old Anglo Nubian goat. He is looking for a home where he can be a companion to one or more similar-sized, like-minded goats. He can be a bit boisterous at times, but he loves nothing more than receiving fuss and attention from his carers. He will need high, strong fencing and a hardstanding area in his new home, to keep his feet healthy in the winter.

Bournemouth Echo: Pixie and Bo Pixie and Bo (Image: Margaret Green Animal Rescue)

Pixie and Bo are two female, Lop rabbits who are looking for their forever home together. Pixie is nearly four-years-old and her daughter, Bo, is around two-years-old. They are friendly girls who love to hop around and explore. They will sometimes sit on your feet and they like an occasional stroke from their carers, but they prefer not to be picked up.
