A BABY had to be freed by firefighters after becoming trapped in a car in Bournemouth.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to Western Avenue in Bournemouth at 12.51pm on Wednesday, November 9, to free a four-month-old child from a car.
One crew from Redhill attended and used small tools to open the car and free the child – who was described as “stuck”.
They succeeded in doing so and the call to stop came at 1.04pm.
The circumstances of how the child became trapped in the vehicle could not be confirmed.
