Details on seven people who have been sentenced for criminal offences at Poole Magistrates' Court.

BOURNEMOUTH

JINXIONG WANG, aged 24 and of Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, found guilty of stealing items to the value of £111.59 belonging to Asda in St Paul’s Road, Bournemouth, on February 14. Fined £50. To pay £9 compensation, £34 surcharge and £200 costs. Also found guilty of failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates’ Court on March 22, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on February 15. Fined £50.

SKYLAR KOBY ROPER, aged 21 and of Littlefield, Sherborne, found guilty of assaulting a person by beating her in Bournemouth on August 10. Community order made, whereby the defendant must take part in a 29-day Thinking Skills programme, up to 12 days of rehabilitation activity requirement and 200 hours of unpaid work. Restraining order made, which lasts until October 30, 2024. To pay £114 surcharge and £620 costs. Also found guilty of assaulting a person by beating him in Bournemouth on August 10. Community order made. To pay £100 compensation. Also found guilty of damaging a Samsung mobile smart phone belonging to a person in Bournemouth on August 10. Community order made. Also found guilty of assaulting a person by beating her in Bournemouth on August 10. Community order made. Also admits conviction of an offence while a community order made on February 4 for the offences of assault, taking conveyance without owner’s consent, no licence and no insurance was in force. New community order made.

EAST DORSET

KAYLEIGH CHANNEL GOW, aged 35 and of Lime Tree Way, Basingstoke, admits using a Renault car on the A31 Ferndown on December 9, 2021, without insurance. Fined £120. To pay £34 surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with six points.

MZIMKHULU MATONZI, aged 35 and of Juniper Close, Three Legged Cross, admits when suspected of having driven a vehicle and having been required to provide a specimen or specimens of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, failing to do so at Bournemouth Police Custody Centre, Madeira Road, Bournemouth, on August 7. Community order made, whereby the defendant must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. To pay £114 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 36 months. Also admits assaulting a man by beating him in Bournemouth on August 7. Community order made.

HARRISON JAMES SMITH, aged 25 and of Martin Avenue, Fareham, admits driving a white Ford Focus in West Street, Poole, on October 15 with 83 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Community order made, whereby the defendant must follow an overnight curfew for nine weeks. To pay £114 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 36 months.

CAROLYN KIM WILLIAM, aged 61 and of Woodlands Avenue, Poole, admits driving a silver Toyota Auris saloon car in Woodlands Avenue, Poole, on October 14 with 97 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Community order made, whereby the defendant must carry out 60 hours of unpaid work. To pay £114 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 24 months.

PATRICK MICHAEL STEVEN DONEGAN, aged 36 and of no fixed abode, admits failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of detention in that he has failed to attend supervision appointments on October 18, October 10 and October 4. Committed to prison for 14 days. To pay £60 costs.
