All the fun of the country fair brought a crowd of 4,000 to Burley.
Burley Manor Park showground buzzed on August 30, 1987, when a host of attractions entertained visitors of all ages.
They included a magnificent heavy-horse musical drive featuring two teams of six gentle giants from Dorset's Heavy Horse Centre at Verwood.

Helping things go with a swing were three majorette troupes – European champions Sandford Majorettes, Salisbury Empress and Motcombe.
And a parade of more than 39 vintage cars and motorbikes included a gleaming 1919 Ford Model T.
Main proceeds went to the neo-natal care charity Bliss as well as well as a number of local charities and organisations.
