A BRAND new block of apartments with views out across Poole Bay has gone on the market for just shy of £20million.

Hartdene Homes is currently in the process of completing the construction of Radcliffe Court in the East Cliff area of Bournemouth.

The 26-flat site in Manor Road is due to be ready for spring 2023.

Frost & Co Estates Agents has been instructed to market the freehold for the site.

The new apartments are located between the two piers with direct access from the private garden to East Overcliff Drive.

Bournemouth Echo:

Tristan Pinckston, director of Hartdene Homes, said: “We look forward to bringing this architecturally challenging art deco building to life on the East Cliff and providing the highest quality design and build standards our company is recognised for.”

The listing from Frost & Co says each apartment includes a share in the freehold, while the block has underground parking.

The six-storey building, which was designed by architects at Christchurch-based DOT Architecture with interiors by Poole-based Jigsaw, received planning permission from BCP Council officers in April 2019.

Bournemouth Echo:

A previous approved plan for a 14-flat development on the land was cast to one side in favour of the larger scheme.

The site was previously home to a four-storey block of flats, which, according to a planning statement, had gradually been vacated over the years as the condition of the building deteriorated.

The development features a mix of two-bed, three-bed, maisonette and penthouse apartments.

Frost & Co’s listing at a price of £19.5million said the site presents a turn key investment opportunity at a sought-after clifftop location.
