CHRISTMAS preparations are underway in Bournemouth town centre with just days to go before the opening of the Christmas Tree Wonderland attraction.
The Lower Gardens are fenced off with trees in place and the ice rink being built, ahead of the opening in 12 days.
In the town centre, the Alpine Lodge and the Christmas Market huts are ready to host festive food and drinks.

Now in its fifth year, the free attraction will run from Friday, November 18 to Monday, January 2.
The popular spectacle will illuminate Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens, seafront and town centre.
It will feature the iconic 60-foot walk through Christmas tree with light shows set to music, as well as a whole host of other light installations.
New trees for 2022, include the Kyiv Christmas Tree at Pier Approach with vibrant, sparkling lights.

The Lucerne Tree in the Gardens will be in recognition of Bournemouth’s twinning with the Swiss town.
The Christmas Tree Wonderland trail runs throughout the town centre, including the Triangle, Beale Place, Horseshoe Common, down to the Lower Gardens and the seafront.
