A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences following a crash which closed a road in Winton.
It involved a red Ford KA and a dark blue Mercedes.
The female driver of the KA has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.03am on Sunday 6 November 2022 to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Wimborne Road in Bournemouth involving a red Ford KA and dark blue Mercedes.
“The road was closed between Castle Road and Ensbury Park Road while emergency services attended the incident.
“Local authority also attended to clear oil from the road. Closures have now lifted.”
"The female driver of the KA has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
No details of injuries at this time.”
The fire service urged people to avoid the area while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Fire crews from Redhill Park and Springbourne attended and assisted with moving a casualty.
The ambulance service also attended.
