A JOLLY Santa fun run is coming to Poole, organised by Naomi House & Jacksplace, the new festive event will raise money for the charity. 

Naomi House & Jacksplace, local hospices for children and young adults, are preparing to kick-start Christmas and begin the festivities in Poole by introducing their jolly Santa Fun Run 5k event on Sunday, December 11.

The yuletide dash is perfect for children and adults and runners or all ability.

Dressed in Santa suits, the runners will begin with a festive warm-up at 2.15pm, before taking on the scenic route around Poole Park lake, before finishing the race in a 'flurry of snow'.

Naomi House & Jacksplace provide expert hospice care to life limited and life threatened children and young adults who have complex care needs.

They support more than 550 families across central southern England.

Charlotte Patrick, senior events fundraiser said: “We are extremely excited to bring our Santa Fun Run to Poole, it is our jolliest event of the year.

"The fundraising efforts from the runners so far have been amazing.

"This will make a difference to the children, young adults and their families here at Naomi House & Jacksplace.” 

There is currently a reduced registration fee for anyone wanting to take part in the Santa Fun Run.
