Details on the criminal cases of 12 defendants which have recently been dealt with at Poole Magistrates' Court.

BOURNEMOUTH

LAURENTIU ALEXANDRU MANEA, aged 30 and of Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth, admits failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made on September 16, 2020, by failing to attend for unpaid work on October 21, 2021 and a telephone appointment with his Probation Practitioner on July 5 and office appointments on July 26 and August 2. To pay £60 costs. Fined £250.

JOEL THOMAS WAYLAND-LLOYD, aged 33 and of Carysfort Road, Bournemouth, admits having an offensive weapon, namely an extendable baton in Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, on September 7. Community order made, whereby the defendant must have treatment for drug dependency for six months and take part in up to 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirement. To pay £114 surcharge and £85 costs. Extendable baton to be forfeited and destroyed.

ADAM JOHN LINDSAY, aged 33 and of Alma Road, Bournemouth, admits having in private, namely his kitchen area, had a weapon to which section 141 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 applied, namely knuckle duster, on June 25. Fined £50. To pay £20 surcharge and £85 costs. Knuckle duster to be forfeited and destroyed.

JAMIE GEORGE LOWE, aged 30 and of St Swithun’s Road, Bournemouth, admits assaulting a woman by beating her in Bournemouth on July 9. Committed to prison for six weeks, suspended for 12 months. Restraining order made, which lasts until October 20, 2023. To pay £100 compensation.

ASHLEY CLARK COLLINS, aged 32 and of Southcote Road, Bournemouth, admits stealing a television, valued at £299 belonging to Asda in St Paul’s Road, Bournemouth, on September 30. Fined £120. To pay £48 surcharge and £85 costs.

EBONY HOLDEN, aged 26 and of Talbot Avenue, Bournemouth, admits damaging CCTV and a wardrobe belonging to St Mungo’s in Talbot Avenue, Bournemouth, on October 2. Community order made, whereby the defendant must take part in up to 15 days of rehabilitation activity requirement. Fined £50. To pay £85 costs.

SEAN HENNESSY, aged 30 and of Drummond Road, Bournemouth, admits driving a motor vehicle on the A34 Sutton Scotney on August 14 with 115 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Community order made, whereby the defendant must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. To pay £114 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 26 months.

MEGAN DOYLE, aged 34 and of St Paul’s Lane, Bournemouth, admits entering a premises in Wootton Mount, Bournemouth, on August 25 in contravention of a closure order issued by Poole Magistrates’ Court on July 27. Fined £50. To pay £34 surcharge and £85 costs. Also admits failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates’ Court on September 21, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on August 25. No separate penalty. Also admits commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge order for a period of 18 months imposed on May 10, 2021, for an offence of battery. No action taken on breach.

MICHAEL HUMPHREYS, aged 40 and of no fixed abode, admits entering a premises in Victoria Place, Bournemouth, on September 21 in contravention of a closure order issued by Poole Magistrates’ Court on September 9. Discharged conditionally for one year. Also admits failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates’ Court on October 19, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on September 21. Discharged conditionally for one year. Also admits having 8.07 grams of cannabis in Victoria Place, Bournemouth, on October 24. Discharged conditionally for one year. To pay £26 surcharge and £85 costs. Drugs to be forfeited and destroyed. Also admits entering a premises in Victoria Place, Bournemouth, on October 24 in contravention of a closure order issued by Poole Magistrates’ Court on September 9. Discharged conditionally for one year.

OWEN JAMES SACALA, aged 43 and of Hamilton Road, Bournemouth, admits failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of detention in that he failed to attend instructed office appointments on August 11, August 18 and August 26 and he was out of contact with his supervisor since August 9. Committed to prison for 14 days.

MIKE JOSEPH GERRARD, aged 28 and of Bournemouth Road, Poole, admits driving a motor vehicle in Ardmore Road, Poole, on April 26 while disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence. Community order made, whereby the defendant must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. To pay £95 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 15 months.

PURBECK

PAUL ANTHONY CHEFFEY, aged 50 and of Cologne Road, Bovington, admits using a Volkswagen Caddy van on the A352 Wareham Road, Wool, on August 26 without insurance. Fined £150. To pay £60 surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with six points.
