POLICE are appealing for more information on a burglary after an electric bike was stolen in Poole

The occupants of an address in Compton Avenue, in Poole, heard a noise outside and saw a man dressed in black in the garden. 

It was reported a garage window was broken into and a Forme Peak Trail 1 ELS Hybrid bike was stolen. 

The offender is described as white, aged under 30 years old, clean shaven and of heavy set with short hair. 

The robbery happened at approximately 12.05am on Friday, October 21, and the police are asking witnesses to come forward. 

Police Constable Julian Forde, of Poole police, said: “I would urge anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity around the relevant time to please come forward. 

“I am also appealing to residents with CCTV or motorists who were travelling in the area with a dashcam to please check your footage for anything to assist my investigation. 

“Finally, if you have seen for sale or been offered a bike matching the one described in unusual circumstances, please contact Dorset Police.”
