A BODY has been found in the search for a missing man from Purbeck.
Gary Frampton, aged 54, was last seen in Church Knowle at around 1.45pm on Saturday, October 29.
Officers carried out searches assisted by Dorset Search and Rescue (DorSAR) and Wessex 4x4 Rescue.
The body of a man was located in the Church Knowle area during the afternoon of Sunday, October 30.
Dorset Police said while formal identification has not yet taken place, the body is believed to be that of Gary Frampton.
His family has been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and HM Coroner has been notified.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of Gary at this very difficult time.
“We would like to thank everyone who assisted with the searches, as well as the public for their help in providing information.”
