The Waterloo estate in Poole building built in 1952
Searching through the Daily Echo archives recently we found this great photo of the Waterloo Estate in Poole being constructed back in 1952.
At the time, the Waterloo housing estate was Poole's largest development with the first of 750 families moving in when the houses were completed. The estate is even bigger now 70 years on.
