Plans have been submitted to alter a new warehouse in Poole to provide a new NHS dental centre.

The proposal for alterations to the new built warehouse behind the Creekmoor Services in Safety Drive has been handed to BCP Council planners.

The application says a new dental centre will be configured and some minor external alterations required.

A design and access statement submitted on behalf of NHS Somerset Trust, says the trust has leased the building to relocate their Poole Dental Centre for adults and children with health issues and disabilities.

“This proposal has been developed around specific requirements and needs of the users in order to be able to operate the practise efficiently. With minor external amendments the function of the building will achieve the requirements that this type of building requires in order to comply with the HTM and HBN standards. “ The Society of Poole have supported the proposal.

The site includes 25 car spaces and there are another 60 spaces for the drive through coffee shop.
