A MAN exposed himself to a young woman in Bournemouth last week as police urge potential witnesses to come forward.

The incident occurred at approximately 6.05pm on Wednesday, October 19, as a woman – aged in her 20s – was walking in Derby Road in the direction of Knyveton Road.

It is understood a man, who was standing near to bushes on the pavement, exposed himself to the victim.

The man is described as white, aged in his late 40s or 50s with grey or white hair and a bald patch at the front. He was wearing a smart blue shirt and trousers.

Officers investigating the reported indecent exposure are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Police Constable Olivia Holt, of Bournemouth Police, said: “I am carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident and would ask anyone who witnessed what happened to please get in touch.

“I understand there was a woman walking down the road at the same time who may have witnessed the incident and I would urge her to please come forward.

“Also, I am keen to appeal to any motorists who may have been travelling in the vicinity of Derby Road and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
