RESIDENTS across the conurbation are likely to experience thunderstorms and heavy rain today with a Met Office weather warning still in force.
The region experienced some rumbles of thunder and downpours throughout the early hours of Sunday morning.
Forecasters are predicting that after a dry spell this morning, the stormy conditions could return.
Bournemouth-based weather enthusiast, Bournemouth and Poole Weather has said “heavy, possibly thundery showers” could get going from lunchtime onwards.
They added: “Some big, lively downpours likely. Remaining extremely mild with max temps to 19C.”

As reported, a Met Office yellow warning for thunderstorms came into force at 4am today. It is currently scheduled to remain in place until 5am tomorrow.
