TWO people were taken to hospital after a two-car crash left both vehicles with extensive damage.

Police and paramedics were called to the collision, involving a Volkswagen and an Audi, just before 11am on Sunday, October 16.

Witnesses say they saw the driver of a black Volkswagen Tiguan allegedly driving at speed towards the junction of West Street and New Orchard, near Poole Quay, when it collided with a white Audi TT.
