A police officer from Bournemouth has issued a plea for a boy's stolen bike to be returned to him.

PCSO Carl Vincent from BournemouthSouth Neighbourhood Policing Team has posted the appeal on the force's Facebook page.

He said the bike has been seen in Bournemouth being used by 'several different males'.

He said: "I have had a conversation with a mother to say that a her son's pride and joy, his bike has been stolen.

"As you can all imagine both are very upset that someone has stolen this unique and quite frankly very nice bike.

"Her son is very passionate about his cycling and enters tournaments in the sport so therefore you can imagine how hard this must be for him that his much loved bike has been stolen.

"This bike has been seen in Bournemouth town centre being used by several different males.

"If you have any information on the location of this bike can you please let us know asap. As personally, I am desperately trying my best to reunite this bike with it's rightful owner."
