TWO Papa John's restaurants in Dorset have been forced to close for the past week after coming across “some issues”.
Papa Johns in The Broadway, Broadstone and in Ringwood Road, Ferndown have been closed for the past week as the owner of the restaurants go through a “difficult period”.
It is unclear what these reasons are for or when the two restaurants will reopen, but a spokesperson said the restaurants will be re-opened as soon as possible.
A spokeswoman for Papa John's said: “Papa John's restaurants in the UK are 100 per cent franchisee owned.
“Papa Johns has been helping the franchise owner of these independently operated restaurants through a difficult period, but these locations have had to close temporarily while some issues are resolved.
“These stores will both re-open as soon as possible but the precise timeline has not been determined.”
Papa Johns, founded in 1984, is an American pizza restaurant chain which has more than 5,500 sites across 49 countries.
In March, Papa John's suspended its business operations in Russia in response to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine – though independent franchisee-owned locations remained open.
