TWO pigs called Pudding and Pie are among eight animals that need to be rehomed in Dorset.

Animal rescue centre Margaret Green wants to find homes for a number of animals in its care this week including rabbits, dogs, cats and pigs.

All the details can be found below – can you help?

Bournemouth Echo: ErnieErnie (Image: Margaret Green Animal Rescue)

Ernie is a four-year-old Shih Tzu. He has not seen much of the world, so he is looking for a family who will have time to meet his training and socialisation needs. He would like to find a calm and quiet home, where he can slowly adjust to normality. He must live with a confident dog, as he is happier in the presence of other dogs, and he could possibly live with cats and teenage children.

Bournemouth Echo: SnootSnoot (Image: Margaret Green Animal Rescue)

Snoot is a three-year-old German Shepherd cross. At first, he can be a little nervous but with some time and patience, he will soon become your friend. He enjoys going for walks, dipping in the river and meeting new four-legged friends. He is looking for a family who can continue his training, as he can be strong on the lead. He would prefer to be the only pet in an adult-only home.

Bournemouth Echo: TrevorTrevor (Image: Margaret Green Animal Rescue)

Trevor is a Shih Tzu who is roughly eight-months-old. He has not seen much of the world, so he needs a family who will continue his training and socialisation. He is looking for a calm and quiet home, where he can slowly adjust to normality. He would like to live with a confident dog, as he is happier in the presence of other dogs, and he could possibly live with cats and teenage children.

Bournemouth Echo: RileyRiley (Image: Margaret Green Animal Rescue)

Riley is a sweet, nine-year-old boy who is looking for his forever home. He is a friendly lad but he can be a little worried when he first meets you. He would prefer to be the only pet in the household, but he could possibly live with older children.

Bournemouth Echo: Pudding and PiePudding and Pie (Image: Margaret Green Animal Rescue)

Pudding and Pie are six-year-old pigs who are very bonded and enjoy each other’s company. Pudding is an extremely affectionate pig but she can be a little bossy. Pie can be shy until he gets to know you but they both enjoy a belly scratch! They will need a home with a draught-free bedroom and a large amount of paddock space, as their favourite hobby is landscaping.

Bournemouth Echo: Pixie and BoPixie and Bo (Image: Margaret Green Animal Rescue)

Pixie and Bo are two female, lop rabbits who are looking for their forever home together. Pixie is nearly four-years-old and her daughter, Bo, is around two-years-old. They are friendly girls who love to hop around and explore. They will sometimes sit on your feet and they like an occasional stroke from their carers, although they prefer not to be picked up.
