Wimborne Town football team became the first Dorset football team to appear at Wembley, beating Guiseley 5-3 in the FA Vase final in March 1992.

Clive Cradick administers the last rites to Dean Park
Hampshire announced they will be leaving Dean Park at the end of the season, bringing to an end almost a century of county cricket in Bournemouth.
Many great players graced the ground over the years, including Barry Richards, Gordon Greenidge, Roy Marshall, David Gower, and Malcolm Marshall.
The pavilion dated back to 1902 and the changing room facilities were not up to scratch for first-class cricket.
