A BAG of bones was discovered in a street in Bournemouth yesterday afternoon. 

Police and forensics were seen in Walpole Road in Boscombe on Monday, October 10 after being made aware of a bag of bones. 

An examination of the bag later revealed they were not human bones but from an animal. 

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 12.28pm on Monday 10 October 2022 that a bag of bones had been located in Walpole Road in Bournemouth.  

“Officers attended and located the bag. An examination of the bones was carried out and it was found that the bones are from an animal.”

In an unrelated incident in September, multiple police officers attended an incident in the same road. 

A man was rushed to hospital and, following enquiries, police said the circumstances to the incident didn’t indicate anything suspicious.
